The Flood Advisory will expire at 1030 PM EDT this evening for a portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas, Montgomery, Richmond and Stanly.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to use extra caution when driving on wet roads, and heed remaining road closures.
