Expect patchy dense fog this morning in the mountains and foothills of West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. This includes along I-77 where the highway crosses the higher elevations. Conditions will gradually improve later this morning and into the afternoon.
The visibility may change quickly over a very short distance and will be only a couple hundred feet in spots.
Use caution when traveling. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
