At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Canfield, or 11 miles northwest of Salem, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Youngstown, Niles, Campbell, Canfield, Lordstown, Hilltop, Vienna Center, Austintown, Girard, McDonald, North Jackson, Churchill, Berlin Center, and Mineral Ridge.
