At 510 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 10 miles south of Clarksville, or 11 miles northwest of Henderson, near Kerr Lake, moving southeast at 10 mph.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential downpours will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Warrenton, Norlina, Kittrell, Stovall, Middleburg, Gillburg, Afton, Steele Creek Marina & Campground and Kerr Lake.
