Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of the Piedmont in North Carolina, including the following county, Cabarrus.

* WHEN...
Until 215 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1114 AM EDT, Emergency Managemer reported Wolf Meadow Branch coming out of its banks with water over the bridge on Stough Road between April Ct and Pebblebrook Cir SW. Minor flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, West Concord, Davidson, Harrisburg, Mt Pleasant, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Coddle Creek Reservoir.
