Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches, mainly in the higher elevations. Locally higher amounts in the high elevations along the Tennessee border. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

The North Carolina Mountain counties along the Tennessee border.

* WHEN...
Until 6 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...
The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
