At 554 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gauley Bridge, or 7 miles northwest of Fayetteville, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Ansted, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Hawks Nest State Park, Powellton, and Swiss.
This includes Route 19 between mile markers 18 and 27, and near mile marker 30.
