* WHAT...
Snow, possibly mixed with sleet. A lull in precipitation expected this later this afternoon and evening. A second round of snow is expected overnight tonight through late Thursday morning.
Total snow accumulations generally from a dusting to around one inch, with locally higher amounts north of Interstate 40.

* WHERE...
Portions of Piedmont and western North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Until noon EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. The threat for black ice will increase Thursday morning.
