At 610 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong winds ahead of thunderstorms along a line extending from North Carolina Zoo to near Reedy Creek Park.
Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Southern Pines, Wadesboro, Troy, Carthage, Badin Lake, Pinehurst, Biscoe, Ansonville, and Seagrove.
