* WHAT...
Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Harnett, Johnston and Wake.

* WHEN...
Until 300 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1158 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Creedmoor, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Butner, Zebulon, Angier, RDU International, Rougemont, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Knightdale, Wendell, Rolesville and William B Umstead State Park.
