At 159 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Wyse Fork, or 8 miles south of Kinston, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Greenville, Kinston, Ayden, Grifton, Phillips Crossroads, Deep Run, Vanceboro, Shelmerdine, Calico, Fort Barnwell, Jasper, Graingers, Pleasant Hill, Wyse Fork, Ernul, Kinston Regional Jetport, Dover, Sandy Bottom, Cove City, and Hargetts Crossroads.
