Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A large portion of Randolph County in central North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Until 330 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 112 AM EDT, Although the earlier heavy rain has ended, doppler radar indicated another wave of showers and thunderstorms will move northeast across the Advisory area through 3 AM EDT. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Radar estimates indicate 2 to 4 inches of rain fell earlier over Randolph County, with the heaviest amounts centered over Randleman. The additional wave of showers and storms will be capable of producing another inch of rain over already- saturated ground.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Asheboro, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Seagrove, Liberty, Ramseur, Franklinville, Staley, Ulah, Randleman Regional Reservior Marina, Coleridge and Martha.
