Wrap around moisture and cold air advection will allow for light rain to transition to snow showers across higher elevations of the East Tennessee mountains late this afternoon into the overnight.
Light snow accumulations of a dusting to 1 inch is generally expected, however, locations at 3000 feet or higher could see isolated totals between 2-3 inches. Northwest winds will also gust between 30 to 40 mph.
