Lingering moisture from overnight rain combined with temperatures around freezing in a few places may result in a few slick or icy spots early this morning.
The coldest temperatures are primarily above 800 feet elevation in the Catoctin and Blue Ridge Mountains, Bull Run Mountain, and other higher hills and ridges in the area.
Motorists should remain alert for sudden slick spots. Leave extra time and following distance, reduce speed, and assume anything that looks wet may be icy.
