At 855 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Deep Run, or 14 miles south of Kinston, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kinston, Grifton, Deep Run, Vanceboro, Fort Barnwell, Potters Hill, Graingers, Pleasant Hill, Wyse Fork, Albertson, Pink Hill, Dover, Sandy Bottom, Cove City, Hargetts Crossroads, and Gardnerville.
