At 1243 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Badin Lake to 10 miles northeast of Ansonville. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Troy, Badin Lake, Biscoe, Badin, Denton, Mount Gilead, Star, Uwharrie Haven, Eldorado, and Fish Tales Marina.
