At 148 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles west of Carthage to 6 miles northwest of Hoffman to near Rockingham. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Carthage, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Maxton, and Hoffman.
