Northwestern Forsyth County in central North Carolina...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 250 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms has moved out of the area, but moderate rain is still falling and additional heavy rain is possible this afternoon and evening. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Winston-Salem, King, Rural Hall, Pfafftown, Stanleyville and Donnaha.
Additional rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
