Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange and Wake.

* WHEN...
Until 700 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 526 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Creedmoor, Carrboro, Mebane, Butner, Rougemont, Morrisville, Swepsonville, Stem, Eno River State Park, Schley, Parkwood, Bethesda, Efland, Gorman, Bahama and Lake Michie.
