Gusty winds will develop behind a cold front moving across the region this evening through early tonight. Northwest wind gusts near 30 mph are possible across the Triad early this evening, with winds strengthening towards the southeast through the period.
Highest gusts near 45 mph are expected across the southern Coastal Plain close to midnight. Winds will remain elevated for a few hours, then diminish overnight.
