At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Winston-Salem to near Salisbury to 8 miles east of Downtown Concord, and moving east at 15 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Salisbury, Mocksville, Spencer, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Mt Pleasant, Bermuda Run, Cooleemee, Faith and High Rock Lake.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph and very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
