The Flood Warning will expire at 2 PM EDT this afternoon for a portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following areas, Alleghany NC, Ashe and Watauga.
Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
