At 1024 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Pinch, or 9 miles east of Charleston, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Clay, Clendenin, Pinch, Glen, Coal Fork, Elkview, Harrison, Widen, Bickmore, Procious, Muddlety, Indore, and Ivydale.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 4 and 8.
Route 19 between mile markers 46 and 50.
