* WHAT...
Minor flooding as the result of heavy rainfall.

* WHERE...
A portion of west central Virginia, including the following counties, Botetourt and Rockbridge.

* WHEN...
Until 400 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 237 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall has diminished within the Advisory area. However from 2-3 inches of rain fell in the general area between Iron Gate and Eagle Rock. Minor flooding remains possible from excessive runoff of rain water in these areas.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Broad Creek, Back Creek, Back Run, Buffalo Creek, Cornelius Creek, Elk Creek, Allen Creek, Davidson Run and Big Hollow Branch.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
