Flash Flood Warning issued June 10 at 10:03PM EDT until June 11 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC
At 1003 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that thunderstorms with very heavy rain have dropped between 2 to 4 inches of rain across with warned area with localized amounts near 5 inches. This rain has produced considerable runoff and rapid rises on creeks and streams in the area. Flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas is underway.

Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, Ramseur, Denton, and Ulah.
Some specific creeks and waterways that are of greatest risk of flooding include Uwharrie creek, Brier Creek, and Caraway creek,
