* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
Portions of central and south central Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, in central Virginia, Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell and City of Lynchburg. In south central Virginia, Bedford.

* WHEN...
Until 715 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Small streams are receding, but larger streams and rivers are still on the rise.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 312 AM EST, Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain fell Saturday. This resulted in minor flooding of small streams.
These smaller streams are receding, but water is now moving downstream into the larger streams and Rivers.
- Minor flooding is still being observed along the Otter River, Falling River, and Lower Roanoke. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional heavy rain is expected until after daybreak Sunday.
