At 857 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles west of Burnwell to near Bald Knob.
Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Oak Hill, Mount Hope, Ansted, Gauley Bridge, Bradley, Prosperity, Burnwell, Powellton, Hawks Nest State Park, Bald Knob, Piney View, Amherstdale-Robinette, Whitesville, Pax, Sylvester, Leewood, Naoma, Arnett, and Eskdale.
This includes the following highways...
West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 47 and 72.
Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 21.
