Snow is expected into Thursday morning, with total accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Winds will gust as high as 50 mph. Visibility may drop to one-half mile or less at times.
Wind chills will fall to near zero.

In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany County. In Virginia, Western Highland County.

* WHEN...
Until 10 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on slippery road conditions US-220 points west of Cumberland, MD and US-250 west of Monterey, VA. The hazardous conditions will impact commuters into Thursday morning. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

The worst conditions are expected through the early morning hours of New Year's Day.
