At 617 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Thomasville to 9 miles west of Asheboro to 12 miles north of Badin Lake. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Asheboro, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Seagrove, Ramseur, Denton, Franklinville, Ulah, and Martha.
