Most of the mountains of western North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Until 7 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...
Heavy snow has made many roads impassable. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Very gusty winds are producing areas of blowing snow, which will cause very poor visibility at times overnight.
