* WHAT...
Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with upwards of 6 inches along and west of US-219. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...
In Maryland, Garrett County. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.

* WHEN...
Until noon EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
Brief whiteout conditions are possible with visibilities dropping below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel could be very difficult along Interstate 68 and on US-40 west of Big Savage Mountain. The hazardous conditions look to worsen during the overnight hours.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Snowfall rates around 0.5 to 1 inch per hour are possible at times through Thursday morning especially in embedded snow squalls. Wind chills of 10 to -10 are expected at times through Thursday.
