At 1133 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Butner to 8 miles east of Bunn. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Nashville, Wilson, Wake Forest, Zebulon, Elm City, Bailey, and Bunn.
