Special Weather Statement issued January 19 at 1:15PM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
A mix of light rain, sleet, and snow will transition to a period of all snow this afternoon from west to east through 5 PM as temperatures fall below freezing. Snow will wind down from west to east through 8 PM, but temperatures will continue to fall through the 20s.
A light accumulation of snow is expected this afternoon. After the snow, any lingering moisture will freeze given the falling temperatures.
