At 946 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bingham to Coal City. Movement was east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Coal City, Shady Spring, Meadow Bridge, Babcock State Park, Ghent, Beaver, Daniels, Josephine, Stanaford, Macarthur, Rainelle, Beckley, Crab Orchard, and Piney View.
This includes the following highways...
West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 40.
Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 137.
