Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Floyd and Montgomery.

* WHEN...
Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 132 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated light rain due to showers across the advisory area. However, minor flooding is already occurring as runoff from heavy rain earlier today continues to collect in area creeks and rivers. Some low water crossings will be flooded and impassible through the afternoon.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Big Indian Creek, Dobbins Creek, Greasy Creek, East Prong Furnace Creek, Eckels Branch, Deepwater Creek, Dodd Creek, Beaver Creek, Beaverdam Creek, Brush Creek and Burks Fork.
