Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Alexander.

* WHEN...
Until 200 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 959 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Tributaries of Duck Creek and the Lower Little River may experience rises imminently, especially along and west of All Healing Springs Road.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Taylorsville, Ellendale, Little River In Alexander County and Millersville.
