At 1004 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of Badin Lake to 9 miles northwest of Rockingham to Mechanicsville. Movement was northeast at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Steeds, Badin, Harpers Crossroads, New London, Covington, Pekin, East Rockingham, Staley, Climax, and Lake Townsend Marina.
