Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 6 inches possible across the far northern portion of the county.
Snowfall totals will quickly diminish to 1 to 2 inches in southern Summit County. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

The heaviest snow is expected Thursday evening as snowbands sag into the area from the north. Snowfall rates could reach 1 inch per hour at times.
