Potomac River at Harpers Ferry affecting Jefferson and Washington Counties.
Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Jefferson, Warren and Clarke Counties.
Rappahannock River at Remington affecting Fauquier and Culpeper Counties.
Rappahannock River at Fredericksburg affecting Stafford, Spotsylvania and City of Fredericksburg independent cities.

South Branch Potomac River near Springfield.

From this afternoon to late this evening.

* IMPACTS...
At 11.0 feet, The river begins to overflow the banks in a few low lying areas. Campers should move away from the river.
At 15.0 feet, Milleson Mill Road (County Route 28/5) and Clarence Taylor Road (Route 3/7) begin to flood. Water covers a significant portion of meadowlands near the river. The boat launch ramp on the upstream right abutment of the bridge also floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 9.4 feet, or 5.6 feet below flood stage.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 15.9 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon to 10.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 11.2 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.0 feet on 05/11/2003.
