Areas of fog, dense in some locations, has developed across northern portions of the Piedmont this morning. The fog will reduce visibilities to below one half mile or less at times.
Visibilities will start to improve between 8 and 9 am.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the fog. Drive at reduced speeds...watch for children at school bus stops...and use low beam headlights only.
