At 629 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Ansonville to near Pageland. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Pines, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Ansonville, Hoffman, Sturdivants, and Polkton.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 34.
