Special Weather Statement issued February 3 at 5:10AM EST by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC
Temperatures have fallen below freezing again across the area, causing lingering runoff from melted snow and ice to refreeze on roads. Areas of black ice can be expected once again this morning. Temperatures should warm above freezing later this morning, with highs in the 40s to low 50s this afternoon. Be prepared for slick spots this morning, especially on bridges and overpasses and any untreated roadways. Use extra caution when walking on sidewalks, driveways, and in parking lots.
