Flooding caused by rain and/or snowmelt and/or ice jam is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of northeast West Virginia, including the following counties, Preston and Tucker. Ice jam observed in Parsons.

* WHEN...
Until 700 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Depending on ice behavior, any release of the ice jam could result in sudden rises of water, leading to a rapid flooding situation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1235 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Local emergency management reported an ice jam in Parsons. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.

Kingwood, Parsons, Terra Alta, Davis, Thomas, Rowlesburg, Hendricks, Hambleton, Albright, Tunnelton, Hannahsville, Lead Mine, Aurora, Elgon, Cathedral State Park, Silver Lake, Benbush, Saint George, Davisville and Blackwater Falls.
