For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...
Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
A prolonged period of dangerous heat will begin today and persist through the weekend with little to no overnight relief expected. Compounding days of dangerous heat will significantly increase the risk for heat-related illness for anyone without adequate cooling or hydration.
