A portion of central Virginia, including the following counties, Cumberland and Prince Edward.

Until 1245 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 943 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen since 9 PM.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area during the next 45 minutes.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Farmville, Longwood University, Hampden Sydney College, Hampden Sydney, Rice, Guinea Mills, Kingsville, Reeds, Worsham, Briery Creek Lake, Raines Tavern, Stoddert, Hawk and Briery.
