THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 564 IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KENTUCKY THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST KENTUCKY BOYD CARTER GREENUP IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OHIO LAWRENCE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ASHLAND, CANNONSBURG, CARTER CAVES STATE PARK, FLATWOODS, GRAYSON, GRAYSON LAKE STATE PARK, IRONTON, LAKE VESUVIUS, OLIVE HILL, RACELAND, RUSSELL, AND SOUTH POINT.
