Potomac River at Harpers Ferry affecting Washington and Jefferson Counties. Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Clarke, Jefferson and Warren Counties. South Branch Potomac River near Springfield affecting Hardy and Hampshire Counties. ...The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Virginia...Maryland... Potomac River at Edwards Ferry affecting Northwest Montgomery, Western Loudoun and Eastern Loudoun zones. For the Potomac River...including Paw Paw, Hancock, Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, Point of Rocks, Edwards Ferry, Little Falls... flooding is possible. For the Shenandoah River...including Millville...flooding is possible. * WHAT... Flooding is possible. * WHERE... South Branch Potomac River near Springfield. * WHEN... Until further notice. * IMPACTS... At 15.0 feet, Milleson Mill Road (County Route 28/5) and Clarence Taylor Road (Route 3/7) begin to flood. Water covers a significant portion of meadowlands near the river.
