Portions of north central and northwest North Carolina, including the following counties, in north central North Carolina, Surry. In northwest North Carolina, Wilkes and Yadkin.

* WHEN...
Until 830 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cobb Creek, Cranberry Creek, Beaverdam Creek, Bee Tree Branch, Big Bugaboo Creek, Cody Creek, Beaver Creek, Big Warrior Creek, Camp Creek, Cane Creek, Arnold Branch, Camp Branch, Cooks Creek and Bussels Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
