Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...
Roanoke (Staunton) River at Randolph.

* WHEN...
Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...
At 24.0 feet, Widespread lowland flooding in fields on left bank and woods on right bank.
At 25.0 feet, Water is several feet deep on portions of river road and black walnut road.
At 30.0 feet, Water starts to reach base of Randolph Post Office.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 AM EST Sunday the stage was 23.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 28.3 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.3 feet on 03/05/1993.
