A portion of central Virginia, including the following counties, Appomattox and Buckingham. * WHEN... Until 1215 AM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 917 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Appomattox River, Beasley Creek, Ducker Creek, Brickyard Branch, Bishop Creek, Cemetery Creek, Gills Creek, Bowler Creek, David Creek and Bear Branch. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
